The Dog’s Bollocks

Truth is like a dog’s bollocks – pretty obvious if you care to look.

Show us your ticker, Man of Steel

Why doesn’t the Man of Steel, Honest Johnnie, have the ticker to tell the Australian people the truth of his Iraq withdrawal strategy? It is simple – we will withdraw when the US withdraw. At least that is an honest and straightforward policy that many people would support. Spare us the nonsense about handing defeat to Al Qaeda. As if Australia is going to stay on and fight the terrorists when the US withdraw!

I think it’s a bit of a stretch – quite unfair in fact – to expect the Prime Minister of Australia to be either honest or straightforward, and certainly not both at once. Leave him alone and concentrate on the interest rates like you’re bloody well supposed to.

I believe the smirking pile of dung otherwise identified as the Treasurer reminded us all about interest rates today. Quelle surprise, as they say.
