The Dog’s Bollocks

Truth is like a dog’s bollocks – pretty obvious if you care to look.

The execution of a US tyrant

In discussion at Leftwrites today about the execution of Saddam Hussein I lamented the self-censorship being exercised by the Australian media in its examination of the life and times of the Iraqi dictator. Gary Pierce offered the following link.

Anyone wanting to know the real story of Saddam Hussein will find Andrew Cockburn’s So long to ‘our’ tyrant in the LA Times an informative read. It makes a lot more sense than the bio-trivial tripe being peddled by the Australian media – just another celebrity death with added ghoul as a bonus.
