Police have revealed speed cameras were switched off on the West Gate Freeway two years ago, because they were unreliable. The predominantly male ‘it’s our inalienable right to speed just a little bit’ brigade are up in arms: “How dare they con us into obeying the speed limit!” An outrageous abuse of our human rights!
